After a 19-year Major League Baseball career, Red Sox pitcher Tim Wakefield is hanging up his cleats. The knuckle-baller spent the last 17 years with the Red Sox Organization. An official announcement will be made at 5pm Friday afternoon in Fort Myers, at the team’s spring training facility. In his career, Wakefield owns a 200-180 record, 4.41 ERA and 2,156 strikeouts.
