From Abbey Road to Hollywood Boulevard, Sir Paul McCartney was honored in Los Angeles Thursday afternoon with a star on the Walk of Fame. Just days ahead of the 54th Annual Grammy Awards, the former Beatle was the last of the Fab Four to receive the honor.
“I would have never thought the day would come when I’d be getting a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.” said McCartney, “That was like an impossible thing to happen. But here we are today, and it’s happening. But I couldn’t have done it without, certainly, three boys. So I want to say thanks to those guys, John, George and Ringo.”
McCartney’s star is the 2,460th to be placed on the Walk of Fame. Photos of the ceremony are below.
