Decca Records has signed Paul McCartney almost a half century after rejecting the band that made him famous. Executives for the record company passed on The Beatles, stating that the group had “no future in show business.”
Fast forward a few decades, Decca and McCartney have reached an agreement that would publish the score to the former Beatle’s first ballet, Ocean’s Kingdom.
The ballet will debut in New York City on September 22nd – the score will be available at stores in London on October 3rd. See what else Sir Paul has been up to over the past few months in the gallery above.
